This is ‘Clinamen’, by Céleste Boursier-Mougenot (it’s an installation artwork). I got to see it in person and it’s stayed with me since.
pros of doing crafts in bed: comfy, cozy, my cat is hanging out with me, i have so many pillows
cons of doing crafts in bed: LOST NEEDLE!!! IN MY BED!!! AAHHHHH
OP, I just wanted you to know that I am working on a quilt, and now every time I lose the needle I go, “I must find it with my visionful eyes and not my fleshy feet!”
I hope your visionful eyeballs (or a magnet) always succeed!
Also I wish I'd drawn the middle 2 panels with the nose facing the same way as the other 2, it's weirdly jarring that they switch direction and I don't know why I did that.
Oh my, I am delighted!! The fabric pattern is admittedly a bit jarring on the visionful eyeballs, but I love the way the curly thread is done, and all the little radiating movement lines! Thank you for sharing!!

Sometimes, being a fashion-forward weirdo is not an easy hobby. It took me 17 years to find a belt that matched this shirt - and 4 more years to remember where I put it after I bought it.
